Devan Steenkamp

FINANCIAL ADVISOR

Devan’s career in the financial services industry started in 2018 at Liberty. He quickly realised his passion for helping people achieve their financial goals and this became a driving force as to why he decided to advance in this dynamic and complex industry.

Devan has since taken up the position of Financial Advisor at Core Wealth, providing a value-added service with budgeting, goal setting, retirement planning, tax optimisation, as well as estate planning. He is an enthusiastic and resolute advisor, striving to make a difference in the lives of his clients and their families. His core mission is to place the interest of his clients first, which he does by building long-term client relationships and ensuring transparency through trustworthy and committed financial advice.

Devan holds a Higher Certificate as well as an Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning from Milpark Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of Free State. He intends to obtain the Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2025.

In his spare time, Devan loves to spend time with family and friends. He is a discerning sports enthusiast and enjoys exploring the beautiful South Africa.
